Colgate Finishes Tied for Eighth at Rum Pointe

Dugan McCabe fired a team-best three-under-par 69 in the final round on Saturday, helping the Raiders to an eighth-place finish at the Battle at Rum Pointe.

One hundred golfers from 18 teams are competing in the weekend two-day tournament at the par-72 Rum Pointe Seaside Golf Course in Berlin, Md. McCabe shaved 16 strokes off his first-round score, climbing to a tie for 33rd. He rode four birdies on the back nine, playing four-under-par over the last six holes on Saturday. McCabe climbed 47 spots to finish with a 154 (+10) after turning in a first-round 85.

Kevin Hollomon shot a 78 on Saturday to finish with a 151 (+7) two-day total. He led the Raiders in a tie for 20th place after opening with a fifth-place 73 scorecard on Friday.

Robbie Herzig finished in a tie for 30th place at 153 (+9), one stroke ahead of McCabe and two strokes ahead of Justin Fedele who tied for 37th with a 155 (+11) two-day total.

Leo Li played as an individual and turned in a 152 (+8) two-day total, good for a 24th-place tie.
