HAMILTON – Colgate Athletics has announced upcoming schedules for 13 teams, including six fall teams, two winter teams, and five spring seasons with fall competitions. 

Schedule highlights and championship dates for volleyball, men's and women's soccer, field hockey, men's and women's cross country, men's and women's swimming and diving, men's golf, men's and women's tennis, and men's and women's rowing are listed below. Additional winter and spring schedules will be announced in the coming weeks as they become available. 

Volleyball
2024 Schedule

Colgate's 2024 campaign begins with a trip to Durham, N.C., where the Raiders square off against Duke, South Carolina, and Kansas Aug. 30 - Sept. 1. Non-conference action continues with the Ellis Rowland Memorial Invitational Sept. 6-8, when Colgate hosts Stony Brook, Buffalo, and UConn for the four-team tournament at Cotterell Court. The Raiders host Iowa State on Sept. 19 for the final non-conference match before Patriot League play begins Sept. 20-21 at Lafayette and Lehigh. 

The three-time defending champion Raiders will face each league team twice during the regular season – once at home and once on the road – as part of the home-and-home 16-match league format. The Patriot League tournament begins with the quarterfinals on Nov. 19, followed by the semifinals and championship set for Nov. 22 and 24, respectively. 

Men's Soccer
2024 Schedule

The Raiders kick off the season at home versus ACC opponent Syracuse on Aug. 22 before staying in the Atlantic Coast Conference for a trip to Virginia on Aug. 25. Colgate continues non-conference action with a Aug. 29 contest against Stonehill at Beyer-Small '76 Field before a road trip to Fordham and Binghamton on Sept. 1 and Sept. 6, respectively. 

Patriot League play begins on Saturday, Sept. 14, against Lafayette at home. The Raiders will face all nine league opponents once, including a rematch of last year's league semifinals against reigning champions Boston University on Oct. 19. Colgate ends the regular season slate with three of its final four games on the road, closing with a home match against Army on Nov. 5. 

Women's Soccer
2024 Schedule

Colgate opens the season on the road, heading to Stony Brook Aug. 15 and St. John's Aug. 18. The Raiders welcome Cornell for their home opener Aug. 25, then travel to Vermont Aug. 29. Colgate returns home to battle Kent State Sept. 1. The Raiders visit La Salle Sept. 5 and Buffalo three days later, before wrapping up non-conference action at home, facing Dartmouth Sept. 12 and UAlbany Sept. 15.

Patriot League play begins at Bucknell Sept. 21. Colgate hosts Boston University in its first of five home league games Sept. 25 and will also take on Loyola, Lehigh, Lafayette, and Army at Beyer-Small '76 Field. The Patriot League tournament begins with the quarterfinals Nov. 3 and the semifinals Nov. 7. The championship game will be Nov. 10.

Field Hockey
2024 Schedule

Field Hockey begins its season at home against Rider Aug. 30 and Ohio State Sept. 6. Colgate heads to Lock Haven Sept. 8 for its first of four straight road contests. The Raiders then travel to Central Michigan Sept. 13 and Michigan State Sept. 15.

Colgate opens Patriot League play at Lehigh Sept. 21 before hosting Mercyhurst the following day. The Raiders then welcome Cornell to Tyler's Field Sept. 29. Colgate's home league slate will feature tilts against Bucknell Oct. 11, Holy Cross Oct. 25, and Lafayette Nov. 2. Additional away non-conference matchups include Towson Oct. 6, Dartmouth Oct. 13, Bryant Oct. 20, and UAlbany Oct. 27.

Colgate's 2024 season begins with the annual Harry Lang Invitational hosted by the Raiders on Aug. 31. The Raiders will compete in five meets during the regular season, including league-hosted races Sept. 6 (Lafayette Invitational) in Easton, Pa., and Oct. 5 (Paul Invitational) at Lehigh. 

Colgate also competes at the Yellowjacket Invitational on Sept. 21 in Rochester, N.Y., and the Penn State National Open on Oct. 18 in University Park, Pa., before the Patriot League Championship on Nov. 2 hosted by Lafayette. The NCAA Regional Championship is set for Nov. 15 in Hopkinton, N.H., followed by the National Championship on Nov. 23 in Madison, Wis. 

Men's & Women's Swimming & Diving

Colgate's 2024-25 season begins with the annual Justin Jennings Memorial, where the Raiders host UMass, St. Francis, and Le Moyne Oct. 11-12. Colgate then stays in Hamilton for four consecutive meets, hosting league foes Lafayette (Oct. 26) and Loyola (Nov. 2) sandwiched between non-conference matchups against Le Moyne (Oct. 25) and Marist (Nov. 9). The second road contest of the regular season occurs when Colgate heads to Providence, R.I., for the three-day Brown Invite (Nov. 22-24). A home meet against Hamilton College wraps up the first semester on Dec. 13. 

The Raiders open the 2025 season with three duals, including a home bout against St. Bonaventure on Jan. 25. That will be Colgate's final home contest of the regular season, as the Raiders head to Boston for the Boston U Invite (Feb. 7-8) before the Patriot League championship begins on Feb. 19. Bucknell is set to host the four-day league championship Feb. 19-22. 

Golf
2024-25 Schedule

Colgate will compete in five tournaments during the fall semester, starting with the annual two-day Alex Lagowitz Memorial Aug. 31-Sept. 1 at Seven Oaks Golf Club. The Raiders then visit Annapolis, Md., for a two-day tournament at Navy Sept. 21-22 before returning to New York State for back-to-back weekends in Lake Placid (Sept. 28-29) and Binghamton (Oct. 6-7). Colgate caps off the fall slate in Lewisburg, Pa., where the Raiders look to defend their title in the three-day Bucknell Invitational Oct. 13-15. 

Men's Tennis
2024-25 Schedule

Men's tennis starts the season at the Bloomsburg Invite on Sept. 7-8 before returning home for the Colgate Invitational on Sept. 14-15. The Raiders return to action on Oct. 17-19 at the ITA Regionals in Cambridge, Mass. Colgate rounds out the Fall with a trip to West Point, N.Y. to compete in the Patriot League tournament on Oct. 25-27. 

Women's Tennis
2024-25 Schedule

Women's tennis begins the fall campaign at the Bloomsburg Invite on Sept. 7-8, returning home on Sept. 28-29 to host the Colgate Invite. The women's ITA Regionals take place on Oct. 10-12 in Cambridge, Mass. before a trip to Lehigh University on Oct. 19-20. The season wraps up on Oct. 25-27. 

Men's Rowing
2024-25 Schedule

Men's rowing will race four times during the fall campaign. The Raiders begin with the Navy Day Regatta Oct. 12 in Philadelphia. Colgate then travels to Cambridge, Mass. for the Head of the Charles Oct. 19-20. The Raiders are back in Philadelphia for the Head of the Schuylkill Oct. 26. Colgate wraps up the season at the Princeton Chase Nov. 3.

Women's Rowing
2024-25 Schedule

Colgate will compete in four races during the fall semester, starting with back-to-back contests at Hamilton College on Sept. 21 and Oct. 12. The annual Head of the Charles is set for Oct. 19 in Boston, Mass., followed by Head of the Fish on Oct. 26 in Saratoga, N.Y.
