Box Score MIAMI — The Colgate men's tennis team fell to Miami Tuesday afternoon, dropping the contest 7-0 against the #34 ranked Hurricanes.

"Great experience for the men today to play a top 35 team in a gorgeous facility on a spectacular campus" said Head Coach Bobby Pennington. "Jerome and Parker were up in dubs at three before it was clinched, and Lochlan was the closest in singles. Overall Miami by far the best team on our schedule and elite. Hopefully a good prep for Bucknell Sunday."

The Raiders opened with doubles action, where the Hurricanes prevailed at lines one and two. The sophomore duo of Parker McGowan and Jerome Falcon were tied 4-4 at line three when the point was clinched.

The Hurricanes continued their momentum through singles, where they took all six matches in straight sets. First-year Lochlan Seth had the closest match, falling 6-2, 6-3 at line four. Senior captain Benito Vlassis and junior Aidan Lee each fell to ATP ranked players at lines one and two, respectively.

The Raiders return to action on Sunday, returning home to take on Patriot League opposition Bucknell at noon at Drumlins.
