Serdachny, Morrow and Pais Named All-USCHO
HAMILTON– Danielle Serdachny, Sydney Morrow, and Emma Pais were named to the All-USCHO Second, Third and Rookie teams, respectively, the organization announced Wednesday morning. The announcement comes on the heels of Serdachny and Morrow's recent selection as CCM/AHCA All-Americans and Pais' selection as ECAC Rookie of the Year.
After finishing in a second-place tie for most points by a rookie skater in the entire country, Pais capped her first season of collegiate hockey as one of six student-athletes on the ALL-USCHO Rookie Team.
The first-year phenom finished 2024 with the second-highest scoring season from a rookie in Colgate women's hockey history (34) while being voted as ECAC Rookie of the Month two-times and Rookie of the Week thrice.
After leading the ECAC in goals scored by a first-year (18), Pais earned national recognition as the Hockey Commissioners Association (HCA) Rookie of the Month in January and a spot on the HCA Rookie of the Year Watchlist.
Morrow, an All-ECAC Second Team Selection, earned her first bid as an All-USCHO selection after ending the year tied for most points in the NCAA by a defender (39). The three-time conference Defender of the Week was also recently named to the U.S. Women's National Team where she is set to compete at the IIHF Women's World Championship this coming week.
The Colgate captain Serdachny makes her second-consecutive appearance on an All-USCHO squad after collecting First Team honors last season. She finished the 2023-24 season with 61 points, the fifth-highest total in the nation, while being named as a top-10 finalist for the Patty Kazmaier Award for the second year in a row.
The only Colgate student-athlete to ever be recognized as a Patty Kazmaier finalist twice, Serdachny ends her decorated career holding the top two slots for most points scored in a season by a Raider skater (71 and 61) in addition to the highest career assists per game average (.88).
Serdachny will face off against Morrow in the upcoming Women's World Championship where she will don the Maple Leaf for Team Canada in Utica, N.Y.
