HAMILTON - Devon Maillet found Kyra Lucey on the doorstep who buried the game-winning goal with eight seconds remaining in the game giving the Raiders a 15-14 win over Lehigh at Andy Kerr Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

After Lehigh's Gabby Schneider scored the tying goal with 20 seconds left, Lucy Licata picked up a crucial draw control and found Maillet in the midfield who was able to beat her defender and find Lucey.

Kyra Lucey finished with eight points and four assists, she is now three assists away from becoming the all-time assist leader in Colgate women's lacrosse history.

COACH TAYLOR'S COMMENTS

"What an exciting win on a day we celebrated our two seniors Kyra Lucey and Helena Morrison. The team put together an outstanding, gritty performance which was emotionally charged. Both seniors impacted the game dramatically with the first and last goal coming off Kyra's stick in a 14-14 game and Helena making 4 saves in the victorious effort.  This team has been close so many times but today they wouldn't be denied. They played inspired and as a unit against a talented Lehigh team. Beyond proud of the growth they showed in the win today."
