Raiders Fall to Greyhounds, 20-6
BALTIMORE - Kait Henning and Lauren Thompson each netted two goals for Colgate but the Raiders fell to seventh ranked Loyola Maryland, 20-6 on Saturday afternoon in Baltimore.
HOW IT HAPPENED
The Raiders fell behind 3-0 before Thompson scored in her third straight game to get Colgate on the board. Kyra Lucey buried Colgate's second of the afternoon off a pretty dish from Caroline Panzirer cutting the deficit to 3-2. Loyola finished the first quarter on a 6-0 run to end the first frame leading 9-2.
Lucy Licata scored the Raiders lone goal of the second quarter and the Greyhounds led 17-3 after the first half.
Kait Henning netted two goals in the third quarter, the first with 7:17 left ending an 8-0 Loyola run. Henning's second came just over a minute later and the Raiders trailed 19-5 heading into the final quarter of action.
Thompson scored her second of the game with just over five minutes to play as Colgate fell 20-6 to Loyola.
Lauren Solis played almost the entire game coming out for the final seven minutes. Solis finished with four saves. Helena Morrison came in to relieve Solis to finish out the afternoon.

Colgate (1-10, 1-3) stays on the road heading to Lewisburg, Pa. to take on Bucknell next Saturday, Apr. 6 at 1 p.m.
