BETHLEHEM, Pa. — The Patriot League announced its women's soccer postseason awards Friday, with Ari Bezanson earning First Team All-League honors and Olivia Anderson being named Second Team All-League.

The two Danvers, Mass. natives both earned Patriot League postseason recognition for the first time in their careers.

Bezanson finished the regular season leading the team in goals (six) and points (13) after also tallying one assist. She ranked tied for third in the league in goals and tied for sixth in points.

The sophomore notched three game-winning goals, which rank tied for the most in the Patriot League. Her game-winners came against Canisius, American, and Navy. Bezanson also led the squad in shots (27) and shots on goal (12). The midfielder logged a two-goal performance in the season-opening win against Canisius on Aug. 17 and tallied three points with a goal and an assist in the finale, a win over Holy Cross, last Wednesday.

Anderson guided the Raiders' backline this season, helping the team record five shutouts, four of which were victories. She started all 18 of Colgate's games and finished second on the squad in minutes with 1555, playing the full 90 in 14 contests. Anderson tallied one assist, the first point of her career, in the victory over Holy Cross.

The junior also helped a disciplined Raiders defense average the second-fewest fouls per game in the Patriot League at 8.28 after committing the fourth-fewest fouls with 149.

Colgate earned the No. 6 seed in the Patriot League tournament and hits the road to take on No. 3 Loyola in the quarterfinals Sunday at 2 p.m.
