Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 MADEIRA BEACH, Fla. – Maya Servedio tossed a complete-game shutout to help Colgate salvage a doubleheader split with a 4-0 win over Stonehell after falling to Central Michigan 12-3 in the opening game of spring break action on Saturday.

Servedio picked up her second win of the season in the complete-game shutout against Stonehill. Adrienne Nardone paced the Raiders offensively with four hits, three RBIs, and a run scored on the day. Jillian Herbst, Quinn Livesay, and Kara Fusco added two hits and an RBI apiece. COACH LAMISON-MYERS' COMMENTS

"It was great to bounce back after not meeting our potential in the first game. Hopefully the rust is off and we can continue to put together better games. Adrienne did her job today and Maya put together a great outing. Hopefully tomorrow brings a bit more consistency."

Game 1 | Central Michigan 12, Colgate 3 (5)

Fifth-year senior pitcher Bailey Misken settled in after surrendering five runs over the first two innings. Colgate grabbed three runs back in the home half of the first after Nardone parked a two-run homer to center to cut Colgate's deficit to 5-3 after two frames.

Misken worked around two base runners in the third and fourth innings. Her fifth strikeout of the game ended the fourth and gave her 400 career punchouts, good for the second-most in program history behind Tara McGoff's 478 from 1996-99.

Colgate stayed within reach until Central Michigan plated seven runs on five hits in the top of the fifth. Seven consecutive batters reached base capped off by a two-run double to right center by Carly Sleeman giving Central Michigan a 12-3 advantage.

Kiley Shelton added one of her team-best two hits with a single in the bottom of the fifth but Colgate couldn't scratch a run and Central Michigan held on for the five-inning victory, 12-3.

Nardone's team-best third home run of the season highlighted Colgate's five hits in the game.

Game 2 | Colgate 4, Stonehill 0

Servedio struck out five in a complete-game shutout to help Colgate salvage a doubleheader split.

The Raiders jumped out to an early lead behind five hits in the top of the first. Herbst roped an RBI double to score Rachel Carney, and then she came home to score on an RBI knock from Fusco. Livesay made it 3-0 with a single down the left field line.

Servedio was in a groove from the get-go. She dealt back-to-back 1-2-3 innings before Nardone padded Colgate's lead with an RBI double to left center, scoring Elizabeth Nitka in the top of the fourth – and that was plenty of support for Servedio.

Servedio worked around a hit in each of the last three innings. She capped off the complete-game effort with a strikeout and a groundout to seal the 4-0 victory.

Nardone finished 3-for-4 with a double at the plate to lead Colgate offensively. Herbst and Livesay added two hits apiece. Servedio finished with five strikeouts against two walks and worked around five hits to pick up the win in the circle.
