Misken Makes Academic All-League
BETHLEHEM, Pa. — Fifth-year pitcher Bailey Misken added another accolade to her illustrious Colgate career, being named to the Patriot League All-Academic team for the second year in a row.
Misken makes the All-Academic team after etching her name in the Colgate softball record books by becoming the program's strikeout champion with 512 career Ks. The Murrieta, Calif., native also led the team with the lowest ERA for the fifth straight season (3.29), and pitched 18 complete games in 2024, tied for 17th most in the country.
The fifth-year ace ended the season ranked third in the Patriot League with 133 strikeouts, fourth in the conference with 12 wins, and tied for first in the league with three saves.
Misken also served as a research assistant for Professor Bailey of Colgate University studying women in the civil rights movement in Mississippi. She was also the recipient of the Pauli Murray Award for Excellence in African American Studies in 2023 and 2024.
