HOW IT HAPPENED
- Colgate struck first off the bat of Livesay, who belted a first-inning double to center field, scoring Analisa Raffiella to give the Raiders an early 1-0 advantage.
- Delaware State took advantage of a passed ball to even the score at 1-1 through two innings before the Raiders took control of the game in the top of the third.
- Claire Whalen opened the third inning with a walk, and then Livesay extended the frame with a two-out single to set the stage for Haluska. The first-year drilled her fourth homer over the wall in center to bring everyone home and give Colgate a 4-1 advantage.
- Sydney Berg scored Alexis Romero on a sacrifice fly to extend Colgate's lead to 5-1 in the top of the sixth. Acker stranded two runners in scoring position in the bottom of the sixth and worked around a single in the seventh to preserve her second win of the season.
