Pennington Sells Out Summer Tennis Camps
HAMILTON – Head men's and women's tennis coach Bobby Pennington sold out both sessions of the program's annual Nike ID Camp this week.
Pennington sold out the camp for the second straight year, hosting 120 campers at the J.W. Abrahamson Tennis Courts in Hamilton.
"From 2011 when camps began it's incomprehensible how much the campers have grown over the years," Pennington said. "We sold out both camps this year and had players coming from all over the country and world."
Pennington provided mentorship to campers alongside seven current Colgate student-athletes and two assistant coaches in addition to Tyler Glowaki, the head coach of SUNY Oswego's men's and women's tennis teams.
"By far this was my best staff as we had seven players on the men's and women's teams, both my assistants and another head college coach," Pennington continued. "The sky's the limit for these camps with the loyalty of our players and coaches."
