Raiders Rout Wildcats in Regular Season Finale
Box Score HAMILTON – Colgate women's tennis bested Daemen, 7-0, in the regular season finale at Sanford Field House on Sunday afternoon. The Raiders were a perfect nine-for-nine, winning every set including five shutout matches.
"I thought we were very sharp today from start to finish," Head Coach Bobby Pennington said. "This clinched a winning season for us and anytime you can finish 20 duels with a winning record it's a job well done."
Colgate controlled the duel from the jump with Carina Cristobal/Gigi Bohan and Eliza Podlas/Avery Isaac winning on two and three, respectively, 6-0. Sophia Montero/Amelia Galin completed the doubles sweep with a 6-3 victory on court one.
In singles, the Raiders never faltered with 8-0 shutout triumphs from Eliza Podlas and Paige Rothwell, who made her collegiate debut in the win.
Bohan also added her first-ever victory in the third slot when she controlled a 6-1, 6-1 decision.

The Raiders will await final seeding as they look ahead to the Patriot League tournament starting on Thursday, April 18, in Annapolis, Md.
