Fedele Leads Colgate at Temple Invitational
PLYMOUTH MEETING, Pa. – Justin Fedele carded a two-over-par 72 and is tied for 12th after the opening round of the Temple Invitational Saturday afternoon at The 1912 Club.
Seventy-eight golfers from 14 teams are competing in this weekend's two-day, 36-hole Temple Invitational which is being held at the par-70, 7,062-yard, The 1912 Club.
Fedele's +2 scorecard is tied with six other golfers and five shots off the lead. Fedele posted three birdies on the back nine to lead the Raiders on the day. Kevin Hollomon is two shots behind Fedele after finishing his first round tied for 25th with a four-over-par 74.
Dugan McCabe closed out the first round with a five-over-par 75 and is tied for 36th on the individual leaderboard. Leo Li is tied for 42nd at six-over-par (76), while Robbie Herzig is tied for 61st at nine-over-par after scoring a first-round 79.
Colgate as a team turned in a 297 (+17) to sit in ninth, two shots behind seventh-place Lehigh and one stroke in front of Lafayette. Drexel's first-round 283 (+3) leads the way.
