Entangled Intimacies: Tradition, Motion, and Memory is an exhibition inspired by the introductory course of the revised Africana and Latin American Studies curriculum (ALST 199), this exhibition highlights connections among coastal communities of the Atlantic and Pacific. Works from the Caribbean, West Africa, Latin America, and the Pacific Islands feature shared themes of trans-oceanic communication, diasporas, transnationalism, colonialism, and resistance. This exhibition aims to provide space for multiple perspectives through public label submissions (ask a staff member!).
